Say, '76, if you'd like I could snap a pic or two of the place for one of these days.
 
I was thinking today, that another neighbour is also selling out. Beautiful place. Apparently 4.5 million (cad) gets 15000 acres, all the cattle, and all the equipment. At least thats the story going around.
 
silver - do you know who you would contact about the neighboring ranch for sale. I spoke with the broker on the Mcdonough place and he isn't for sure if they are still selling the place. Would be interested in finding out about this other place you are talking about.
 
Silver - I take it the owner of this place must be pretty weatlhy huh? I guess he has taken this ranch of the market and is turning it into an elk refuge. If you hear anything on the other ranch you spoke of let me know. thanks

Ya, 'nother one of those filthy rich Texans. He only comes up a couple of times a year, and in the mean time is feeding elk there and drawing them from miles around.
I will PM you the other neighbours name and phone number.

No, we keep them in the hay yard. Keeps the wildlife out very well so far. I don't believe theyre the answer of predators. (I see coyotes in with them all the time)
