My daughters who are going to college in Miles called me yesterday to tell me that they were travelling in "groups" because this guy was loose and considered possibly armed and very dangerous and a suicide risk...They said the cops had been searching several of the areas near their house, even going thru the sewers...
That armed Miles City citizens caught him does not surprise me a bit- what does surprise me tho is that this accused baby-raper was taken alive- I guess he just wouldn't run or put up a fight

MILES CITY -- Area residents on Friday helped law enforcement officers capture a man who escaped from the Custer County jail Wednesday night.
Two local men saw Devin S. Deming, 36, Friday morning in a small outbuilding just outside the city. The men were armed and held Deming until deputies arrived, said Custer County Sheriff Tony Harbaugh.
Deming was jailed on felony charges for aggravated assault, kidnapping, burglary and felony sexual assault on a minor.
He is accused of attacking a 12-year-old boy in June 2005 at a Miles City residence and faced a Sept. 11 trial on charges of attacking a 13-year-old girl in Miles City in December 2005. Officials said Deming escaped at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday when another inmate, Thomas Conley, overpowered a guard.
The detention officer, whose name wasn't released, received six stitches to close an injury to his face.
