Rancher, a partial answer to your question...if imported boxed beef goes through a USA fabrication plant for 'farther processing', it will come out labeled as a product of USA. If the product fits an export market and is needed to fill a contract, I'm sure it will go to that market. The true answer to your question may only come from the processor/exporter.

So, why do you persist in demeaning my search for the answer to this question with phrases like "dancing around it"? I have privately emailed some people who might know, and have not yet received an answer.

I do not know if people at CBB know the answer.......certainly you may email and find out. My thought was that it probably isn't part of their work to know that, and I don't ask them to do work that won't benefit checkoff projects.

Tommy and friends, apparently it seems more useful to you to engage in your little games than to try to find answers to the questions asked.

For the record, I stated at least a few times in this and in the original posts on this subject, that I do not know, but want to know the answers to the original import/export question. I have asked some who might have them, and still await the answers. If that is your version of "dancing around" the questions and such, so be it.

Murgen said Canadian boxed beef is exported from the USA and offered to find the numbers on quantity. Hopefully, he will come up with them soon.

Meanwhile, I appeal to anyone else who has FACTUAL information on the subject to jump in with answers to the question of whether or not, and how much Canadian beef imported either live or as boxed beef, is then exported to other countries.

And no doubt, you will try to spin this post like you do most of mine, Tommy. So be it. If it is just your nature to attempt to create conspiracies of one sort or another, have fun entertaining yourself!

MRj, I can't find the actual numbers, I believe Agman can help out. But beef that is shipped in boxes to the US are re-exported to Countries that except Canadian and American beef at this time!

They are accustomed to the quality that both countries provide and are willing to buy from either country.

We'll have to get their names, so we can send the product direct instead of using a middle man!
