Tap, they're due to start calving Christmas day. They're bred to the same bull we used last year on our heifers that worked out really well. Small calves that jump up & get to nursing right away.

alabama, we're actually considered "hilly" although cert likes to laugh at my definition of "hill" & we're nothing like the Hill Country. About 15 miles from us the land is so flat you can stand on an ant bed & see 40 miles or so. I don't have time this morning but I may try to post some pics to show our "hills" one of these days. :lol: Good eyes there, too........only one of those pecan trees made this year. The others had pecans but they were just empty shells, no meat. We did have a tree at our house that made really well so I have plenty put up for baking.
