MYT Futures Part VIII. (Braces Off!!!)

Howdy folks. Well, as the title says, those darn braces are now gone forever. I got off my second set today. The first set was to do some major changing and resetting of the teeth. This second set was the "fine tuning". And I sure think it worked. I've included some snap shots of the before and after. Not great pics, but they give you an idea. As for the other stuff going on around here, El Paso county upped their funding on county extension, so it looks like 4-H will scrape by yet another year. This wishy washy stuff is starting to get on my nerves. Any how, for some better news, I was asked to clip up a couple of lowlines for the national western. I am now a professional. :wink: I'll be cracking out of bed at 4:30 to do chores and we'll be leaving by 5:30 to make it to Denver on time. I have two heifers to wash, touch-up clip, and fit. The show starts at 9 am. It promises to be fun experience. This'll be my first year showing at NWSS, even though I'm just the fitter. The young lady who owns them makes a better showman anyhow. Well, I guess that about finishes this up date up. School is back in session, and, hmmm...... I seem to be forgetting.... Ah yes.

The 20th of this month is my 16th birthday. I'm kind of excited.

Well, if you look close, you can see my braces shining.

Aha!!! Neked teeth once again!!

Didn't even see me wearing these in the last pic did ya? Retainers are now "incognito".

our county extension job just got filled this week. there was 20 some applicants from states that had cut their extension jobs and they are flocking to montana for the extension job openings.

Teeth look good, just can't fix ugly...just kidding. I think I set a record for braces, fourth grade through freshman year of college. I probably wasn't the best patient. Always breaking stuff, didn't want to wear the stupid head gear.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. Nope, not a grappler. Actually, not too much of an athletic guy. I've played basketball and did taekwondo for 4 years, but that's about it. BMR, I had a real crick in my back after bending over those things for 3-4 hours here at the house. Today wasn't bad though.

Thanks again. We watched the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse show tonight. It was the world finals. Pretty sweet. Going back up on Saturday to meet up with a friend and just spend a nice weekend talking cattle and looking over bulls I'll never use. MYT's kinda day.

Happy B'day. Sixteen sounds better than Sixty plus. I'll be up in the yards today looking at bulls and next Wed for CCA show & legeslative breifing. Saturday is too much crowd. Know how my happy I was for my kids when they shed their braces, so I will relate to what a great day for you! Congrats! I'll watch for ya around now that I know what shiney teeth you have :lol:

Ya, you probably should watch out for those folks. Never know what they might be up to. Well, if you're talking Wednesday the 20th, I think I'll be there for my b-day. A couple shows and a grooming demo I want to catch.
