Kids are in ski school every weekend for the next month, so I slapped the boards onto today for the 1st run of the year, was a beautiful day

Where all the trees on the slope :???: I was always better at plowing down trees than skiing... :?

But I did love spring skiing when I was at Big Sky during the college spring break on those 40-50 degree days--we'd get all dressed up in our ski outfits- grab a lawn chair and 12 pack of beer - and go out and plop down in front of the Lodge- and watch all the ski bunnies coming down topless- or sometimes even streaking the slopes.... :D

no trees on this hill which is good for all the kids and beginners that ski on it, I'm more of a spring skier too, but it was nice today.

gcreek at least I don't go flying in a plane with no gas!!!

Hope ya had a great day on the slopes. I used to ski but havent for ten years. My knees got to hurtin' too much afterward. Thanks for the pictures. Which resort?

Leanin'H it is Dollar Mtn @Sun Valley, I can relate to the knees, never leave home without my brace!

Blkbuckaroo, generally try to avoid the yellow mats, but glad they are there in case I need them!

Richard, I did go the fastest way possible, walking is way to slow

Looks like it was a fun day..Just what are them yellow things anyways?

In case you get going too fast you can grab them as you're going by.

Les they are mats around the base of the snow making guns, they also put them around the base of the chairlift towers.

gcreek, its sound like you and my hubby were taught by the same ski instructor!!
