Plum trees from Georgia

Yeap that's right....Kola was ornery enuff to go dig me some up and send em to me. I got em today....and planted them.

Now hopefully in a few years, I'll be makin wild plum jelly again.

What kind of plums? The American Wild Plum (Prunus Americana)?

That is what is in South Dakota growing wild in the crick bottoms and such!! Certain years when the fruit don't freeze it is bumper crops!! Mom always makes Jelly.....lord how good the plums are.....the critters just love em and are a steady scour until they are gone!

Well...my Grasshopper mower does a pretty good job on those saplin's also!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Lilly's trees got trashed....she wanted some....I had some....and a deal was struck! :lol: :lol:

I planted them as soon as they got here, only one of the three has wilted. But I think even that one will make it if I keep waterin it. You know good n well if it was somethin that I didnt want to grow, I'd have em out the waazooo hehe.

Oh...and pm me your addy. Hubby grabbed the box as I was plantin, and burned it with the rest of the trash. So I don't have your address to mail you the shipping $. I didnt realize he'd done that. I started lookn for the box. Asked him if I took it in the house (thought I was loosin my mind), he said no....I burned it.

Well I planned on sending you postage. But you can bet your more than welcome to stop in if your ever in my area and have some cobbler. But haha I do want your addy, cuz I'll send ya some jelly too. I"m plannin on makin some dewberry jelly here in the next few weeks, it aint as good (IMO) as the wild plum...but everyone else thinks its the best thing since sliced bread LOL
