Plum trees from Georgia

I wanna know if these Georgia plum trees will understand the Texas accent...lol Ya know Lilly ya got to sweet talk them plants to make em grow..lol
 
Hmmm I hadn't thought of that...I did talk to em when I planted em.......But I aint gotta Georgia accent. :shock:

Kola...yer gonna hafta git on the phone....and I'll hold the phone down to the lil plum trees and you can talk to em.....K? hehe

Shouldn't be a problem as no matter where I seem to travel and people hear the so called ' accent'....they peg me for Texas instead of Ga anyway!!! :lol: :lol:

So I doubt them trees will know any different. But I'd say them GA redworms that got sent with them had the shock of their slimy lives when they hit Texas dirt!!! :shock: :shock:

I'd bet good money that Lilly and I could hear the difference in our accents between us....but I'd also bet better money that most of you guys could NOT tell us apart just by accent alone!!! :wink: :wink:

I don't think ' transplantations' count.

Are you transplanted FROM Texas or where you transplated TO Texas from somewhere else???
 
You girls have me interested in some of those plums,aint ever seen em around here,wonder whats gonna be easier talkin kola outa a tree or Lilly outa some jelly :D

The ' official' botanical terms for the tree...I haven't a clue. I've just always heard them called ' hog' plums!

If those trees survived the ride to Lilly's , they'd prob make it to you in just as good a shape! :lol:

I would like a couple of them Kola,if it aint too much trouble,on the second thought probably would'nt do good around here too many deer,maybe lilly will send some of that jelly,then me and you wont hafta do any diggin :D

I think we started somethin here LOL

I have no idea how long these lil trees will take to produce. I don't recall seein any plums on the lil trees. Course the trees that do produce aren't much taller than the barbwire fence. But wonder how long it takes for em to get that big? LOL round here the ones I was pickin..now that they've started mowin along the road and gettin all the new baby trees wacked, I don't have anything to compare to.

FIL says them lil plum trees usta be all over around here. Now they are few and far between.

Oh and Kola.....we have red worms too......maybe they found friends, and when I dug the holes to put the trees in, your dirt and my dirt looked perdy much the same.

OH yeah!!!! I'd get carted away immediately if Mr Lilly came home and I was sittin out in the yard....(picture this in your mind if you will)

Ok sittin in the yard.....in front of the lil plum trees......singin to the worms, under the plum trees....head tipped back...sun glasses on......smilin real big....swayin back n forth....Singin...."Jah jah......Jaaahhhaahh Jahhaahh"

Uh huh, yeap.... a strait jacket for sure :P
