It seems most cattle producers have a bias against grassfed...unless they are raising grassfed!!!! :shock: :lol: Even if I stopped producing grassfed beef to sell, I wouldn't eat anything but grassfed!!!!! I guess I'm biased!! :wink: :wink:

I concur. :wink: For the same reason, I don't like "grass-fat" venison. If a deer spent some time eating grain, it might taste better.

We usually butcher a dry two year old off grass-it's almost sinfully good.

We've always eaten grain fed beef. I think if I saw a piece of meat with yellow fat, I'd be wondering if the meat was off. I guess it's just what you get used to. Mind you, we've butchered some heifers that we finished ourselves that were no screaming hell for flavor or tenderness. (Damn Simmentals! :wink: )

I agree,Darci made us cattlemen that feed naturally,and finish on grass darn proud!!!!!!!!!

And trust me...thier were alot of mouths watering at his BBQ steaks over the chicken some of the misguided townies were BBQ'ing...... :lol: :lol:
