Re: High Plains Livestock Exchange to Host Debut Fund-Raiser
for R-CALF USA; Shae Dodson to Speak

1 p.m. MST - Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, in Brush,
Colo.

High Plains Livestock Exchange in Brush, Colo., will host its first
fund-raiser for R-CALF USA at 1 p.m. MST, Thursday, Feb. 17.
Proceeds will go to R-CALF USA to support its work on trade issues that
affect independent U.S. cattle producers.

R-CALF USA filed a lawsuit against USDA on Jan. 10, 2005, that asks the U.S.
District Court in Billings, Mont., to overturn the agency's Final Rule on
reopening the Canadian border to live cattle younger than 30 months of age,
and beef products from animals of all ages.

"We just see that R-CALF is working hard on behalf of U.S. cattle producers,
and they're the only organization out there looking out for our interests,"
said Tim Stutzman, owner of High Plains Livestock Exchange. "We're looking
forward to hearing about R-CALF and having a good sale."

Phone-in bids can be placed by calling: 1-866-842-5115.

Bids also can be placed over the Internet, by logging on to:
www.dvauction.com .

R-CALF USA Communications Coordinator Shae Dodson will speak at 1 p.m.

My neighbor just called up Bob Baylog to see if he is going to have a benefit auction for R-Calf too, he has not called back to tell me how it went. Guess I should call to see if he is still alive

Haymaker , your slower then I am getting on here. You bin out drinkin'?

I saw a article that said "outgoing R-CALF president Leo Mc"

Did the mean he was "OUTGOING" or is he stepping down as in leaving?

:cboy:
