Yep, a bat. He got in there in last 24 hours, since I emptied the gauge day before. Stone dead. Why he got in there I have no idea.

A little brown bat, he was, that died because of thirst,
he'd a' probably made it if he hadn't got there first.
As his friends all crowded in behind,
they stood on him to drink
and he drowned there at the bottom
of that pile of bats, I think.
Maybe not, just a theory.

Bats don't have problems with tight spaces….I think. But, that plastic may have keep him from getting a foot hold…once he got to the bottom. At least that's my theory.
