We didn't get anything here at the house. Not sure how much was up at our north place, but I was going the wrong direction in my Gator. Pretty well got soaked by the time I made it back to the pickup and trailer. We have had over a half an inch of rain every week for the last 3 weeks. Our grass looks better then I have ever seen it. We do have half the numbers so we should have grass
Half an inch of rain every day for the last 3 weeks. That is just about perfect. Too bad a person can't count on that every year. But then, we wouldn't appreciate it as we do know.
We hadn't had any moisture for 2 weeks, then on Monday we got .25" and on Wednesday evening a thunderstorm rolled in and we got .10". Other places got up to .30. Every little bit helps. We've never had the hay stay so green as it has this year.
Interesting that yesterday we were 79 degrees, but north of Missoula, Mt. they got up to 96. It's usually much cooler there than here. Not this year.
It was only 41 degrees this morning early. The guys were wearing their coats. Even Mr. FH, who loves cool weather said it was a bit too chilly!
We get a hot day and then it cools right off. It's been so nice. Everything shows it, too. The grass, the cattle, the creeks. Wonderful! Thank you, God.
