re-ride on roundup

Started round up Monday got a little gather opening gates, rode along bringing some cows out... doctor told me to stay off a horse. Tuesday the other out fit in the allotment with me sent over a big crew and they got a good gather. Tenny made it home from school Tuesday night and she and her mother rode Wednesday Then again Friday. They are out today got a call that they found some cows when they got on top of the ridge in Spring Canyon

So different than out here on the flats. We'll spend half a day with half a dozen riders sweeping the pasture, and have all of them. Always enjoyed helping my cousins gather off the forest. Might ride for a week, and still be missing some.

Sue Tenny rode Saturday covered alot of country anf only got 2 pair, there still about 35 pair out all the bulls have been found.

think there more ruff grouse hunting then cow hunting going on here

these two pair where way up water canyon, they saw them from the far side, ran into a moose and had to back track aways, Sue's bally horse slipped down a muddy side hill , sue luckly step off

all the illegal 4 wheeler trails do help with trailing

only 2 more hills to climb

abby gets to help too

With Rex leaving in about 10 days (for 2 years) and Tenny home for a few days from school we went out to Dad's Steak House since in be awhile before the 4 of us can do that again.

Our gates are open now, we were gone to our grandson's baptism over the weekend but today I'm going to saddle up the green colt we bought last spring and go on a reconasance mission. Both my dogs are crippled up so it will be an interesting fall roundup.

Jody, those days when the youngsters are no longer at home sure slip up on us quickly, it seems. It makes us all the more appreciate the times when we can all sit down at the table together.
