They are not the only ones in Alberta that are calling it quits. Land prices are extremely high and now with the cattle market would be the time to say "screw it this place is BS and I'm outta here".

Like 90% of Polled Herf guys. Sell everything except 20 old cows and a few heifers or maybe keep the heifer calf crop. Wait 10 years and do it all over again.
