As most of you know, I attended a Ranching For Profit school at Edmonton from Jan. 16-22.
While I am still not convinced that our operation would completely fit in their church so to speak, I did find the business administration part of the course very enlightening and would recommend the school to ALL businesses.
Still wrapping my head around the concepts and when it quits spinning (and the day work gets caught up) plan to put the concepts of their business planning to work.
One of the highlights of the trip was Per taking time from his busy schedule and coming up to spend a day at the course with me.

1990's Alumni Per giving his testimonial to the class. The instructor was a little perplexed at Per's reference to grazing some land with a baler. :D

Per, think folks would vote for two politicians that keep their hands in their OWN pockets?

My caption for that last picture would have to be:

"Two of the Good 'Ole Boys".

We were so glad to meet you both! Nice you got together in
Edmonton.
Funny you say that FH, I was called an Old Backroom Boy today, it wasn't meant to be but I took it as a compliment. Thanks gcreek, I got a bit of a lift out of that picture. :-)

Looks like you had a good time. :D

Will the school be renamed "Ranching for fun and games"?

Hope you can put some of what you learned to use. It will make all that driving worth while.

Maybe I'll start a new venture with this breeding stock parrot that was shipped here.

We are 5 hours from Quesnel. My oldest son and his family live 20 miles south of Quesnel.

PM your buddy's name, good chance we may know each other.

Internet marketing. :D

Better use Paypal.

Your set for both major holidays now. Halloween and St Paddy's Day.

Which reminds me, gcreek. I play poker online (with play money
only!!) and ran into a player the
other night from Williams Lake that knows you and Debbie.

His wifes kids are Roy's cousins or something like that. Small world, eh????
He told me Roys nickname is Roney,( or something close to that.)

As many relatives as Roy has, this could take some contemplation. :?

He was given that nickname (Roaney) as comparison to the personality of the Strawberry Roan.
