The networks have called the race. The GOP presidential candidates have delivered their speeches and left the state.
And, still, party officials in Nevada's largest county continue to count the vote.
With just half of the vote counted, officials have already discovered some discrepancies. In some precincts, the number of ballots did not match the number of voters who signed in to participate in the caucus.
State party secretary Jim DeGraffenreid said they are still determining "the facts" and then will decide how to proceed, but acknowledged the ballots from those precincts may be dumped from the results.
Caucuses are a hotbed for corruption. Votes can be changed, tossed, or miscounted at almost any time in some caucus settings.
There's one problem that has emerged, Clark County has not released it's votes. An important largely populous county home to Las Vegas is not reporting?

maybe it is time for the caucus states to let everyone have a vote ...
and for that ballot to be cast without worry.
at one point long ago a caucus made sense.. but today?
