I just became a member and have been watching this site and reading for some time, thought i would finally become a member so i could respond to some of the neat stuff you all post. Well little on me, i am not rancher by week day only by weekends and spare time, i am a partner with my dad. During the week i spend my time welding in the factory in town. Well on the welding i work for people, we make cattle working equipment made right here in the heart of the sandhills, and some pretty good stuff, others make cheaper and some better but ours is very respectful, IMHO. I was once was a contractor electrician, but our current president, took most of the profit out of that with insurance, fuel, and laws. I was spending allot time working for them, and not seeing my family. So i went back to work for others, and have their insurance and they get the headaches. This gives me more time to see my wife and kids and help my Dad out on weekends and days off, and we have become much closer what a big plus.
