Taking a trailer load of odds and sods to the sale tommorow, haven't been to Town since Dec 4rth.
No grandchild yet, due day was the 20th. Both parents were two weeks overdue so I guess EPD's work. :wink:

Not a real prince of a day here as two good steers went in a springhole and failed their swimming lesson.
Guess I'm fencing when I get home.

Monday I go back to Town and get my wisdom teeth removed, anyone know how long it takes for a near 50 to heal up from that?

That depends entirely on the amount of antifreeze you consume and the alcohol level.

Well be careful in the big city and stay outa the saloons,be a lota folks in there tryin to get all that money you made at the sale.
I never could understand the pullin wisdom tooth deal.............wisdom tells me you will be glad you have em some day.

Just make sure ya keep the gauze packed in the hole. You get a dry socket and you'll say bad words in real long sentences at a high volume level> It hurts! Sorry bout' the non swimmers.

And sure don't get too cold after you get them pulled. I did and got a wicked infection out of the deal. Gave a whole new meaning to the word stabbing pain . . .

No lifting
No horizontal mombo
Lots of fluids..(no booze) you throw up and you will regret it for two weeks
Take your pain pills while it's still numb so it controls the pain before it gets real bad...
If it's cold.. cover the area that is numb so it won't freeze.
Don't suck over the socket sites.
No straws....
No smoking.....
No heating pads on the face.....
Make sure you have a good blood clot and keep them....
NO crunchy food like potato chips.. Soup is good.
If you have stitches that is good
And remember if they dig them out the socket holes is like being shot with a 45 slug in the bone.. So please take care of yourself for atlest a week or more..

Well, I'm home, 4 teeth short. Got out of the dentist chair after a nice sleep at 3:00 pm and have been home for two hours. Haven't taken any of the pain pills they sent unless it gets worse than this. On pen for a week.

Took Grandpa Dick and his Caddie SUV for a driver after I got out. The brakes he was going to get repaired today seized on one corner at Tatla Lake. Caddy got hauled and the store owner gave us his truck so I wouldn't miss out on my appointment. Makes a person appreciate the Chilcotin community a little more.
