The farthest I've ever roaded my grader is about 75 miles - - - how far are you going? It will go about 40 MPH but most of the time if it needs to go far it goes on the de tach and the Kenworth is much nicer to ride in.

Oh that place will be busy I was there last year on the 27th and 28th year end it was a zoo. I sure like my skidsteer it's at Ziegler in Brainerd Mn which is 20 miles from here the joy stick switch for the auxillary is not working and the heater motor is'nt either so they are fixing it.

Once the skidsteer is paid off I'm going to get a trac-hoe my family is from southern Mn all crop farmers and trenchers most of my cousins work in the tileing business one family has 8 sons 5 of them are in that business as were all my uncles and Dad plus Grandpa so when I see a piece of wet ground its just in my nature to see if it can be farmed at least once smoothed out and put into hay production or improved pasture.

Mystic Lake Casino is the main attraction this time of year your about a 1/2 hour from the Mall of America myself we go in the summer a few times as it is about an hour from my relatives and we get free rooms at the Casino dureing the week. Of course you have to play a bit to keep your "FREE" STATUS we go to the horse races one night go to Montgomery Mn to the Bakery and Buy some Kolake's sp? bum around a bit and go home but my wife likes those little day two day trips and they keep a Happy wife= Happy Life.

Is there something for me to do there?? I'm not really into machinery.
I grew up just south of the twin cities area...make a plan to go to the mall of America...I'm not much of a shopper but it's a pretty interesting place to go check out. People, watching is pretty fun there :-) the MN zoo is pretty nearby there, just south of the MOA, if you are more into the animal watching! Talked to my folks today, they are forecasting very cold temps this week. Best find something to do indoors !

Denny, I have lots of family in Brainerd area and in Staples, and Brainerd is where we picked up 11 Belgians to use for feeding hay in 2004...from an old retired forest supervisor. Very nice old guy...the Thesing family. I grew up in Waseca, MN, south of you about 3 1/2 hours...the dirt can't get much blacker than it is around there. Brainerd is a great community though. Lots of fantastic fishing--heard the ice is pretty thick in your neighborhood this year! Stay warm, sounds like another cold snap about to hit ya.

Wow! Small world for sure! I grew up in the most northern part of the NW side of town. Does your family still live on the family farm? I know of quite a few folks in agriculture still there in the area. My parents taught school and coached in Waseca starting in 1973. My dad coached many sports...last name of Klomp. George and Gert Thesing and their daughter and son in law actually came out here about 6 years ago to see their horses we bought while coming out to see Yellowstone Park. Nice nice people! My sister in laws family has owned the staples florist shop for about 70 years...Williams Floral. My twin brother lives in Brainerd with his family. So are you near Mötley then? Small world! Perhaps next time we make it off this ranch for a vacation we will have to stop by :-)

My grandparents have passed on there place was north of town and east off the highway. My grandpa turned the whole farmstead into a trailer park type of deal it was a dump to say the least after he passed away they cleaned it up and sold off lots and are now all nice homes. Our last name is Blowers my cousins are a rowdy bunch to say the least. My uncle Ray dated a gal from Waseca that had twin daughters they lived up here her Name was Mary the daughters were Andrea and I cant remember the other one of those girls works in Motley at a tire wholesale company and one of them is married to the Williams son from the floral shop. I live 2 miles east of motley very small world. Stop by any time your thru here.

Denny...Very small, world! There were a few kids a year or two younger than me in high school with the last name of Blowers. I never knew them real well as they were younger. I know right where your grandparents land is now...yes, turned into a nice subdivision for sure. I attended my twin brother and sis in laws wedding in 2000 in Staples. I've had a beer or two in Ten Hi Bar in Mötley the night before the wedding :-)

1995... There was a Nicki Blowers and perhaps a cousin of hers in the class that graduated 1997.

Those years they would be my cousins daughters. My oldest cousins graduated in the early 80's There was Timmy Terry Tony Tom Mike Mark and Matt. Julie would have been my aunt she Graduated in 1987 I graduated in 1986 from Motley Terry is the oldest and he had some daughters very young so I'd bet Nicki was his or Tims daughter we moved here in 1977 and did'nt go back much after 1984 or so my Dad got sick and it got easy to put off.We are related to the Stewarts also but most of them moved north of Minneapolis
