I sent in a DNA request on a bull calf last April as I really liked him and his dam was exposed to two bulls. If he was out of the bull I had hoped he was, I was going to keep him .
I just got the results today.......... :? Because I was unsure of his parentage he hit the road with the other calves in Sept. as I didn't want to feed something for that long without knowing. I know I should have been on their @sses sooner to get those results but really, are you kidding me ? 7 months for a DNA test ?? There is absolutely no excuse for that.
BTW he was not sired by the bull I had hope for so I am glad I decided to send him packing , had I waited he would have been in the bull pen eating expensive feed right now.
