Fire information officer Dixie Dies said that firefighters had talked with the Langfords.
"We contact every landowner when we use their property, whether it's for dozer line or backburns," she said. "It shouldn't have been a surprise. I can tell you we talked to them."
Do you know how to tell if the Forest Service is lying? Their lips are moving!
We'd always suspected as much, but we found out for sure, with Kit and Sherry's deal with them.......and then it was reinforced, when they took me to court over something I never did, nor had any control whatsoever, over. And the derned LEO wanted us to be thrilled that he let us plea bargain over it....... Sorry SOB.....
Dies said the fire had crossed dozer line in a couple of places and that backfires were used Wednesday to contain it. Fire was also coming out of Forest Service land on the northwest.
Hello.............there is no such thing as Forest Service land.........the federal government can't own any property other than military installations and Washington, DC. Used to be that they could own the post offices, too, but when they went private, that put the kiedas to that.
Langford complained that the Forest Service wouldn't let them fight the fire on adjacent government land because of the liability.
Yep, they're so afraid that someone is gonna do something to save what they have that they'll come up with any and every excuse there is, to save their butts........of course, if we could save our property, it would take longer for them to get us all out of the west, too.......so maybe it all ties into The Wildlands Project........
