That was the forecast this morning. The sky opened up about 1:30 this afternoon and we now have puddles in the puddles.

But the next three days are supposed to be nice, we may be making a few ruts. :?

I was beginning to enjoy our drought as long as we finished haying.

gcreek-sounds like you are sending it this way too--as we have chances of rain for tomorrow and on thru the whole week

Isn't much combining getting done anyway when Humidity is in the 70's and 80's and temps in the 50's...

I hate say it but a little dry weather around here would be nice , been trying to tin a roof , thought it would be a good project during haying waiting for some hay to dry down , six weeks later were only a third done , but least the hay is put up

We got about half our summer's precipitation between 1:30 PM yesterday and 3:00 AM this morning, close to 1 1/2 inches. At this point of the season the ground won't do a lot of drying unless we get a really hot Indian summer.
No rain today and forecast for a couple of nice days coming, if dry tommorow we will get a bunch baled to wrap.

Full moon is on the 23rd, hopefully a change then.

That is what the long range weather pattern is looking like-- with temps going back in the mid 70's down here- and an Indian summer.....

Most times the moon is reliable.

Yep-- and the 23rd is the Harvest Moon- which usually brings a weather pattern change-- and often a beautiful Indian summer afterward....

We're wet here, it was snowing enough to stick on the pickup windshield. It was about 34 degree's here this morning but it hasn't actually froze yet. Haying is done just have to get them hauled in.
