Looks like you are around 120 - 125%. Thats good, now that its about time to melt. We had a deep pack here about 4 or 5 years ago that the chinooks came up and evaporated almost all of it. The spring runoff didn't happen. As Charlie Russell painted, "Meat Aint Meat Till Its In The Pan", but looks favorable for you to have water this summer. La Nina is working. Unfortunatley La Nina brings the Eastern plains of Colo drought and wind. Yesterday we had three big fires in our vicinity. The closest burned 8 sections. Another day of Red Flag Warning today.

new snow usually helps melt the old snow but it has just held up the hard crust. it nice I can walk on top but the calves do do and get in trouble

I had one the other day that must have been playing and ran out onto a big snow bank and broke thru... He was pretty well stuck there- and momma was having fits running around bawling.... I finally got waded out close enough I could hook him with the calf hook extended full way- and got him pulled out of the hole he'd dug...
Then I was wondering who was going to come get me out !!
