Is it cold there this morning?

It sure is here. Been in the shop at 4.30 helping son get semi warmed up and now he is gone for a load of contaminated dirt and i can snooze until chore time. It is some where around -35 out there. The trucks didn't run yesterday because of the cold. I don't know why they are going today. :?

It is -18 degrees on the thermometer next to the house. The thermometer out on the gatepost is cold enough that the battery on it is not working this morning. It's pretty nippy out, that is for sure. :?

-22 here this morning, same as it was when I checked last night. Clear and calm makes it a little easier to take. I think the livestock and I both got sick and tired of the wind!

Warmed up to -8 so far this morning. If I could I would share the Chinook that is coming. Above freezing temps forecast for several days. Yesterday morning it was dancing with -40. I suspect that where my main herd is west of here it is above freezing by now.

A balmy -23C (-26F). This is the nicest morning we have had in about a month. If the trend continues I think we will be bringing our first group home off grass and onto swaths tomorrow.

NEWS FLASH :) the cariboo chilcotin checks in at -5C this morning.with a high of 7C and rain by sunday. of course that will lead to icey conditions. just makes one appreciate home that much more when i read the comments here this morning. hope you all have a great day

its a crisp 23 degrees here with about 20 mph winds.

Ok, RFR, I'll sympathize with you. I'll bet that feels darn cold in southern Louisiana!!

That is 18 F warmer than it is here this morning, as we have no wind, that figure would be comparable to here.

yeah especially when you havent seen this hard of a freeze in 13 years. my team roping partner just got back from his house in Chama, NM and is was 18 degrees when he left the other day. he told me this morning at the store that its colder here than it was in the mountains. must be all this dam humidity. Its not too bad though. just most of the people down here are too stupid to dress correctly for this cold. it was kind of fun breaking ice with the tractor this mornin while i was feeding.

okay people...some of us are trying to make skating rinks for our kids and this cold weather is what is needed to make good ice!! (of course its going to be beautiful in Denver from the 10th till the 18th!!)...just sayin' :P

10 degrees F in North Texas this AM. Sitting at 16 during the noon hour. Nice and cool. Luckily not much wind. Actually doesn't feel that bad.
