You shoulda hollered. I'da come had a cup of coffee with you.

We should have planned our trip a little more in advance and could have made contact with more people but I called about my parts at 9am and left by 10.told Tam"i'm leaving are you coming with me".We packed light and rode hard.

Wow! That was quick!! So much for "he who travels fastest, goes alone."

And an impressively long 'parts run'!

You must have about driven by our driveway, if you went from Valentine to Wall Drug Store. That's a good stop, especially if you have time for a coffee and their great home made donuts, or in summer maybe the ice cream instead. At 70 miles away, it's so close we don't get there often enough. I get 'lost' in the book store area and take too long on our way to 'the city'.
Sounds like you had a good trip and saw lots of country, anyway.

Well went from Valentine up to Murdo and over to Wall. For some reason i thought you were north of 90 a little farther north. :?

Soap, so sorry to hear you got the WNV and it knocked you down so hard.

And, thank you for refraining from posting hospital photos! Those open back gowns give a whole different meaning to I-C-U.

BMR, you most likely saw most of the area of SD you drove through looking about the best, and greenest it ever does at this time of year!

We are 8 miles north of 1880 Town, exit 170 between Murdo and Belvidere. and every time we drive to Rapid City, we marvel at how good it looks, especially from Cheyenne River area to RC. That area isn't 'normally' green for very long. Yesterday it still looked great, but there are lots of smaller areas that have not had much rain, too.

yes we did drive by your drive way. :D
Tam would have liked to stop at 1880 town but it was closed for the night. maybe the season I suppose. The country was looking good. Where I really noticed it was up around Medora ND. Looked almost like spring. :D

Maybe Kosmo, or Peach will chime in, but last night Bob M, said that Soap is still fighting with some paralysis. Sounded like maybe he was out of the hospital, and doing rehab work.
