I just got some new pics loaded into photobucket, so thought I'd share. These have been taken over the last 3 weeks, so I don't remember just when they were taken.....it's tough gettin old and fergitfull.........
Had to replace a frost-free hydrant up at the corral a few weeks back, used the backhoe to dig down so far, then shovelled from there to the waterline......while the backhoe was idling, Wheezer (who weighed in at 1,004# this weekend, and made the minimum for our fair next month
)had to go check it out....
While he was doing that, Bandi took advantage of having the dirt pile all to herself and got absolutely filthy!
Poor little Junior, just stood back and watched, till he spied me, and then here he came! He's not a bad looking little dogie, huh?
Al, excercising his 4-H pigs
Moving some cattle a couple of weekends ago
Al, on the job with Rocky
And bringing back two pair that tried to escape
Hot, dusty work, on the drag
Bringing them in
Poor Al, had to go get another breakaway
Through the gate
Cows, just as far from the camera as they could get...I like the paint cow in front
Approaching storm (start of the monsoon here)
The new pup (Hubby calls him Blue, Al calls him Noodle, I wanted to call him Rebel after my old pup, but he's just not a Rebel.....)
He has some strange sleeping positions.......
Al getting Alex ready to move cows back out of town again
Snip, and hubby on Peach
Cows are back outta town, and in the forest where they belong
4-H mounted group in the Pioneer Day Parade this past Saturday (Nicole, Al & Benjie)
And two come back up the road (lost the third member to his gf  )
