I think you guys deserve a couple of toddys long before that.I can't believe the crappy weather you are getting  .I'm almost done calving except for a few tail enders,to bad you couldn't send that crappy weather up here, and i would trade you our weather.

Hear the tail of a range sheep out fit having a blizzard hit in May. They had a couple thousand ewes in a big corral out in the desert, 3 or 4 trucks outside the corral with the lights on. The herders would take the ewes that had just lambed down to a smaller corral pen at one end , which next to was the boss and a travel trailer, the had the new born lambs into him he had a big pot of warm milk cow colostrum , and gave every lamb a little dose and a shot of whiskey then he take a swig . next morning the storm had blown over inside the trailer the boss was passed out and the new lamb $h!# was all over everything. They said most all the ewes took a lamb, they ended up with very few bums out of the deal

Seven straight days of blowing/snowing/drifting and cold... Still a lot of the north south roads and highways closed or barely passable.. This is starting to get old..And the soonest they are predicting an end may be Tuesday- when the cold moves east- the winds die down some- and it warms into the 30's......

I've been getting calls from folks looking for baby calves as it seems as everyone is losing calves in this weather....

And the topper is that those weather folks and their computers are indicating another major winter storm for MT...

BOTH THE GFS AND ECMWF ARE POINTING TOWARDS AN UPPER TROUGH COMING
INLAND ON SATURDAY WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING ALONG
THE STATIONARY FRONT IN SOUTHERN MONTANA OR WYOMING DURING THE
WEEKEND. BOTH MODELS ARE POINTING TOWARDS A MAJOR WINTER STORM
THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO IMPACT MOST OF THE STATE NEXT WEEKEND.
AT THIS POINT...NORTHEAST MONTANA COULD SEE HEAVY SNOW FROM THIS
SYSTEM SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY
.

When asked about the constantly lower than normal temps Al Gore replied " Can you imagine how cold it would be if we did not have global warming?"

And this is from the man who made $27,000,000.00 in one year giving lectures on the terrible thing called global warming and the fact that we were causing it.

We have averaged abut 15F lower than normal all winter with the exception of two brief warmups. I'm still glad I'm not fighting the things some of you are.
