Debbie has been farming up a storm the last week, mostly discing and picking rocks. (She can't resist) :D

Yesterday got our oats and peas planted just before recieving 2/10" of rain last night. The black sky this morning and another shower made it look like fertilizing and packing were going to be delayed for a bit. This afternoon the sky cleared and we got them done.
Forecast is for rain the next 2 days. I hope it comes as I'm not looking forward to moving handlines just yet.

Oh Yeah, there is already a dandelion up. :P

Your still ahead of me then, even with only 9 frost free days. I still have a little swath grazing to get in, somewhere between the rains.

Most years it's worth planting in spite of our climate.

Did you seed silage peas with your oats for greenfeed or did you plant them separately?

They are seeded together, about 80-20 mix.

Hayguy, wrappers are the best invention since the round baler.
