That Project Done

Debbie has been farming up a storm the last week, mostly discing and picking rocks. (She can't resist)

Yesterday got our oats and peas planted just before recieving 2/10" of rain last night. The black sky this morning and another shower made it look like fertilizing and packing were going to be delayed for a bit. This afternoon the sky cleared and we got them done.
Forecast is for rain the next 2 days. I hope it comes as I'm not looking forward to moving handlines just yet. :lol:

Most years it's worth planting in spite of our climate.

They are seeded together, about 80-20 mix.

Hayguy, wrappers are the best invention since the round baler. :wink:

I've always wanted to try it, just was scared about getting it to dry down enough. I take it you wrap them by your last comment.

We would never dry this crop in mid Sept. so it is baled 24 hrs. after cutting regardless. Usually at 70 % moisture.
