The other night when they had Fred Whitfield on, did anyone notice that Fred wouldn't look at Butch Knowles? I wonder what's up with that?

Back when I was hauling horned critters all over the country, Fred was by far one of the nicest guys to have around when it came time to load or unload them. I haven't visited with him in close to 25 years, but back then he was about as handy as any "normal" ranch hand, and wasn't afraid to crawl into a pot with you. But that was all before he really started winning too.
