The Way of Cattle Folks

To me, cattle folks ought to talk slow and know when to not talk at all.

They ought to love the land and do what they can to make it more productive for them and their animals.

They should work hard and love their spouse and kids.

They should go to church when they can and teach their kids what's right and wrong according to God. If they don't believe in God, they better find a good way to teach their kids right from wrong somehow because they won't figure it out on their own.

And when they hear that someone's horse died, they should say they're sorry to hear it.

I'm not a horse person at all, but I know that losing one is the same to the owner as losing the family dog. My condolences.
