I am a couple hours away, but my father in law is down there in them. Brother in law took over a ranch from a retiring guy that has a lot of good flint hills grass....
they were the first stop on the tour, met some interesting people...a few pics will show up here eventually!
saw a lot of good things, saw a lot of things I would not do. I guess that is the point of these deals. one of the biggest things is, bigger is not better. a guy with 45 cows had the best looking cattle on the whole deal! a few 3 - 4 hundred head operations were not as impressive....
dang good eats, friendly people, and a ranch rodeo!
