I hope you saved some good second cut to get them through to green grass. :P

have been saving the second cut for use as protein supplement for the cows

gopher's get put on the mineral program of 30 grains of tin-copper composite, the terminal performance is spectacular!

hayguy have you ever shot a .17 HMR-expensive but fun on gophers.
Last summer we had some contract killers show up for a couple of weekends. They ran out of 22 shells (only had about 10 bricks with them), so were using shotguns. That was expensive per shot, but actually very cost effective per gopher.
The trick is to let them get thick enough you can't miss, making you a very good shot.

If you get a 17 dialed in you don't miss many lol.

Brought to you by a .243 the French judge gave him a 7 for the rip entry lol.

NR, yes i do have a .17hmr in a CZ with the set trigger, very consistent out to 120 yds or so with NO wind, .22 hornet does every thing an hmr or .22 mag can do much better and if you reload for less money. also use a .17 fireball and a .204 ruger with great results for longer ranges.

excellent pictures, how do you take them and or what type of camera

I just videoed that with my Canon digital then captured three frames from the video. No gophers were injured in the filming of the clip lol. Imagine the story he told his buddies down the hole!
