well folks I got the field of grass seeded today and everything went dandy no problems whatsoever!!! Have to wait and see how it turns out next spring.

Good to hear it went well. We have seeded grass a lot of different ways and it always seems to come as long as its not put in too deep and if we do use a nurse crop, we cut it early and get it off as as silage so there are no swaths to choke it out.
