Just wanted to let everyone know, my brother-in-law has our website up. It's going to get some more detail and alot more pictures when I have time to do it, and he has time to upload it, but we're really happy with the job he's done so far. Hope you all enjoy.

Very nice family. Nice cattle and an excellant website. We are all natural grassfed beef with mostly Shorthorn genetics. We will be listed on eatwild next month. Best of luck to you and family.

You must be very proud of that family and your cattle PureCountry, never seen a better lookin family or cattle.
good luck

You have a nice website. You are lucky to have a fine family with which to share life's experiences. Your cattle look to be efficient and something to be proud of. Thanks for showing us. Keep up the good work.

Yep-- like everyone says- good looking herds, both cows and kids....

It seems like only a few weeks ago that little one was born- and now half growed........

Very nice website :)

Looks like the wedding in that sweet Merna church was the beginning of great things, large and small....keep it up :)

Great site, Pure...totally agree except the grain feeding. :) Be interesting to see how the sunflower deal works for y'all. I was surprised to see that I've met all your "Friends" south of the 49th...Carol and Tommy's cows are the phenotype I keep in my mind's eye.

Someone you need to check out, if you haven't already, Dick Diven at lowcostcowcalf.com.

I've looked through alot of Diven's stuff, even tried to take his course. But it fell when I was working. Not the end of the world if i don't though. We were low cost before I'd ever heard of the man. I'm not familiar with all that he teaches, but we've done fine. From what I've read, he pushes supplementing the animals with alot of minerals/ vitamins. I tend to agree with Northern on this one - I will not let my cows suffer if they're lacking something - but I believe we need to let our animals adapt to what resources are available on the ranch. I do however also believe that one who does not strive to improve their pastures, does not care for their stock, because the healthier we build our soils, the healthier we'll see the stock. I too, am a student of Dr. Albrecht.

This is why I like Dr. Diven...

Therefore, when I read a report out of such a prestigious institution as the USDA at Clay Center, NE, I know that I will be exposed to new facts. I only hope that I comprehend the material and put it to good use.

He's as skeptical of university research as I am...until it is put into the context of real world agriculture!!!

I wouldn't say that those producers "don't care", but are victims of university research designed to sell input products(that research being paid for by the maker of the input).

The soil is one of the few things you can walk outside every day and put your hands on...take care of it, it will take care of you!!!!

Good Luck with it. One suggestion I'd make is make it more clear the method of buying your Beef. Is it sides or do you sell cuts as well?

Looks like a good life PC,

We do both, and you bring up a very good point PPRM. We plan on putting more detail into the site when my brother-in-law is back from vacation. The beef page will eventually have cut & price lists/options, and the cattle page will have pics of all sires as well as foundation females. I need to keep the camera busier, basically.
