Those eyes. I have a black cow that calved about three weeks ago in the fall herd. She was bred to a black bull and her calf has eyes like that. The calf isn't blind. I haven't said much about the calf because it's too weird and I didn't know if anyone would believe me. The calf is coal black with those "goat" eyes.
I can't get a great look at the calves eyes in that picture but some of our Luing cows have "goat like" eyes. Instead of being the usual dark brown they are a light bluish/green. I believe in our case it comes from the Highland heritage - it's a trait that seems to run in families and is quite deep rooted ie can skip several generations before returning. I have a bred heifer like that just now - will try and snap a picture when I see her next.
