Last year I had to hook a side delivery rake on behind my 14 wheel V rake just to get the 2 dribbles of hay merged together, this year i have to pull out and rake half the V just to get it stuffed out the back of the rake.

i know what you mean....there have been years here that a person could easily baled 4 16ft windrow raked together. this year 2 raked together is almost to much. it's amazing what the country is capable of with a little moisture. :)

Justin (rain hog  ) are you seeing alfalfa in spots where
there hasn't been alfalfa for ages? We are. It's phenomonal.

no, i guess i haven't noticed much other than where it has always been. maybe it's there, and it's just hidden by all the sweet clover. :?
the hay i have left to cut has always been pretty much straight grass and it appears to still be that way....maybe a few extra alfalfa plants than normal, but all in all, it's pretty close to what it has been in the past.

rain hog..... it will probably never happen again.
