Stevie Wonder could see through your little lying game.
Ya think so, Fed Up? I wonder what other qualitities Stevie Wonder might have? There have been several blind singers we are all familiar with. No doubt, their lack of sight allows them to make up in other areas. They can certainly smell rats, and they can hear foot shuffling a mile away. Let's interview a few, and see if they've written any songs to describe what we've all seen here on Ranchers.net.
First, let's interview Terri Gibbs. "Now Terri, what would you say to a group of ranchers that have held hands on a stage with consumer activist groups that deep down would cut them off at the boot tops for a quarter…..would shoot their mothers for less than a quarter, and really want to see them out of business?"
Terri Gibbs:
Somebody's knockin', Should I let him in, Lord it's the devil, Would you look at him.........
Thank you Terri.
Next, a man we all love to hear sing. Mr Ronnie Milsap. Ronnie, do you have any songs that describe someone so deserate for someone to agree with them, they'll dance with that woman that mom always warned us about?
Ronnie Milsap:
Once in every life, Someone comes along, And you came to me, It was almost like a song.
Thanks Ronnie. Keep hammering those tunes out.
Next, is Mr. Stevie Wonder. The man Mr. Fed Up invited to our party. Stevie, what have you got to say to a group that embraces the Meatrix, a slanderous video that takes pot shots at the producers of the worlds safest, most abundant food supply,……….or frequently quotes a sentence someone read on the back of a label peeled of a bottle of Old Charter (Janet Riley / AMI quote), or someone that frequently quotes Mother Earth, (to borrow a little Rush Limbaugh lingo) one of those dope smoking, long haired maggot invested long haired FM rock & roll publications, and also has group members that frequent use quotes from the Capital Times, one of the most liberal rags in the nation from Madison, WI to back their causes? Do you have a song that depicts such slighted alligence?
Stevie Wonder
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered"
Like a fool I went and stayed too long, Now I'm wondering if your love's still strong,
Ooh, baby, here I am, signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours!
Thank you Stevie. Keep pounding out the Motown hits.
Finally, if we could, we'd invite Mr. Ray Charles to this party. (may god rest his soul). Ray, sooner or later, these guys are going to run for the hills when everyone figures out their shenanigans. Reference the same bunch that was the Am Ag Movement several years ago. Any songs to describe such people?
(Ray): I've got a perfect song, one I sung with George Jones.
Ray & George:
No, I didn't see you, and I didn't see you, and we didn't see a thing.
We've got to stick together to keep our stories straight
No, don't forget Ray, I was down in Atlanta, sure you were
And I was workin' late
Yeah, you know, it's always good to see you George
It's good to see you too
But I didn't see you, and I didn't see you, and we didn't see a thing.
So you're right Fed Up, we can learn from blind singers.
