Kinda spooky isn't it? And Hypo is posting in places other than PB.
If you'd been here you wouldn't have missed digging holed up bulls out of muskeg / willow flats this afternoon. My horse was pushing through willows so thick his feet hardly touched the ground. Coulda used you and that fancy quad :D

Would have been an excellent place for good dogs. I left mine at home because I was afraid she wasn't quite up to a task like that. It's days like today that you realize a good dog is one of the most important tools a rancher can have.

I've tried posting in other forums before. The critics always brought the Political Bull into it.

Seems they don't mind anymore.
 
Even a so - so mutt is better than nothing in the brush. Was your mission accomplished? We are still out 4 bulls and 15 or so cows.

Had to edit, our hunter friend who is celebrating his 30th year of hunting at our place is leaving tommorow. I am halfway through my third Caeser. :D

We got two, there was one more on the other side of the creek that we couldn't get to. That will be the last one. They can be pretty tough when they decide to hole up. I do believe they would stay in one spot and starve to death if not found.
Hopefully your bulls are with the cows and a good snow will bring them home.
