What the H... Is He Up To Now!!!!

Help Support Ranchers.net:

Where I winter my cows they have easy access to the watering bowls, but I've found it somewhat interesting to watch what comes up for a drink.

The purebred Angus's and Angus/exotic crosses all come up a couple times a day for a drink, while the black baldies, blazes, PB shorthorns and shorthorn crosses usually only come in once every couple days. The shorthorns are usually covered in snow from rooting around looking for that last chute of grass they missed before the snow fell. I think the easier keepin' your cows are, the better they'll do on snow.

Andy, how was the Range Cow Beef Symposium? We had good intentions of going to it but the weather went haywire. Had hoped to get to meet you there, but will do so another time.

The RBCS was great. I was looking around for you at the Pfizer meeting but figured the weather must of kept you home.
