on bangs?

Our vet likes to do our heifers anywhere from 6 months to around 14 months of age.
He did tell me we could have done bangs on a milk cow I had, but was bred, at over 14 months of age.
He said get it done at least a couple months before turning them out with the bull.


Is it raining there?

IN SD it has to be done before they are 1 year old.

Supposed to be done before they are a year old- but most Vets will fudge a month or two as long as they are not bred and would rather see them vaccinated than not...
