Where would you rather be?

Sometimes we get to feeling sorry for ourselves when weather gets a little rough. Where does everyone think they would rather ranch? Never been there but NE New Mexico has always intrigued me. From some pictures I've seen it would be similar to this place but with nicer winters. And of course there's always Hawaii!!

As I doubt I will ever be able to go back to Africa, and my sponsorship to the USA was made a mess of, I suppose New Zealand would be my next choice.

Pure Country there's a real good outfit coming up for sale in the next year-I think 4-5 sections in a chunk. The guys a real good grass manager too. There could be alot of cow outfits for sale soon if things don't straighten out. I bought my hay this off that outfit I told you about before. My Dad almost moved us to New Zealand I have cousins who went there during the war and stayed-I guess our old family farm in Scotland is a golf course and bed and breakfast now-doubt I'll ever get to see it but my sisters have.

Heaven, it would be perfect there, but I don't want to die.

Wonderful thought Coyote !

My Grandmother always said she loathed for Heaven but wasn't making up for a trip that day for herself.

Heaven will be the reward for our life's work only if we use the Biblical markers and that becomes the high mark we seek to achieve.

Hope to see you there Coyote. If you dont know what I look like just use your ole smeller.

I will be the grinnin pig farmer WORSHIPING AT THE LORDS FEET all the while Blessed to be there.

This song by Squire Parsons sums it up pretty well.

Only one other place than Heaven I would love to see and that is Israel.

Cool thread! I would love to see all these places everyone is talking about. I like to travel but my roots are in the Midwest prairie. The landscape is not so dramatic and ruggedly beautiful as other places but the land is very productive and it does have a charm and beauty of its own. If I were to win the lottery, I'd be looking to buy a nice big chunk of the Kansas Flint Hills.

It a cattlemens paridise. Knee deep in grass all year long. But in the rainy season, rain like u never seen. Hot and muggy like florida, bad skeeters, many other bitein bugs. Some big snakes and crocadiles. The goverments always has there hand out as well as every man woman and child. But its a unreal beautiful place.
