Faster horses said:They look good, both of 'em. Seems like the bottom one would set down
on a horse a bit more. Does it have quarter horses bars, by
chance? The first one looks to me like it would fit a horse with more
wither and the other one looks like it might be for a wider type horse.
Are you going to like the stirrup leathers bein' on the outside of
the fenders as in the second picture?
I like the 'Idaho twist' on the stirrups in the first picture. Maybe the
other one has that as well, it's just that you can't see that part.
You need to ride them to know which one YOU like best.
We can't do that obviously.Which one has the narrowest
seat?
Try them and then tell us which one you liked the best.
Good luck!!

You asked which I would buy...I said neither since I am a forward sitting rider and both of those saddles would be painful to ride any length of time in. You have to pick the saddle that fits YOU.
If your wanting to show saddles for a saddlemaker cool, does she make one for a forward sitting rider ....more in the lines of a hunt seat saddle?

The front of those saddle is just the way Wades are made. I'm thinking
those are 7/8 double rigging and you can set them back a bit.
Some Wades are 3/4 double and I've even seen center fire rigging
on them. They are different looking, but the guys that ride them,
love them.
I'll say one thing, Haymaker. Those saddles can be hard to stay in.
You better get some bucking rolls. Mr. FH loves the Wades but he
has ridden other saddles so long, he just couldn't get comfy in
the Wades. He wanted to and he tried, and maybe it was because
he wasn't riding for a long time every day at that point in his life;
but he gave up on them. The guys that ride a long ways every day,
sure seem to favor the wades.
Good luck.
Great since I need between a 14.5 and a 15 :wink:HAY MAKER said:MsSage said:The only way you can choose is for you to sit in both of them.
