We have two rows of cream peas that aren't makin yet. They have a few blooms on em. But no peas as of yet.
This is the first time we've planted this variety of peas. They were called Pink eyes. Not purple hull....but close to the same. Only thing is..like you said, some of them aren't filled out real well. And I don't like how they shell. Not near as easy as a good ole blackeyed pea, the hull feels gooey/sticky. I think from now on I'll stick to the blackeyes.

Lil Green basket balls. I seriously think the main reason no one likes them is cuz of the one's they served in the school cafeteria growin up. They were always hard. Oh and they stink too. Mama used to open a can of em....can't remember the name...silver label, Leflur or somethin like that. Nuff to make ya gag soon as the lid rose up.
"Bless them Southern Gals hearts" huh Jassy, they don't get that the green pea is the pea to eat....not all them other colors....LOLJassy said:Pink Peas..Black Peas...Purple Peas...dont' ya'll just have plain ole Green Peas??? lol
