Winter Again

Holy smoke, we are expecting a -10 for a low tonight and some snow. Note to self: Some one else has it worse off. Keep warm Gcreek.

Keep it up there gcreek... Thats all we'd need now... This morning its ice fog again- with 100% humidity now...Get soaking wet walking thru it...

But the temp is 30 degrees--imagine what it would be like if it were 20 Below :???:

The only weather change our guessers are predicting is that the moisture moving out of California- may give us a little shot of snow on Wed - but it sounds like most of that will stay south and east of us..

Yikes that is cold for March brrrrrrrr.

We had a low of -7 last night but the wind was howling from the north and 10 cm's of snow is expected into tomorrow. It is all brown here now and was finally drying up.

I wish we could put winter behind us and move on with spring showers and warm weather, but I'll take this as I don't think I could handle-29 anymore for a while.

Stay warm Gcreek .

We were 55 degrees this past weekend. We have not had much winter this year. Lots of rain which is unusual for our area, but good temps have made calving enjoyable.

Keep yer cold weather down south folks! Water is running here again today, sun is shining, hills are baring off. It probably wont last but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. Cows are supposed to start next week, it would be nice if the weather held for that for a change. Somehow I feel I should have started calving 3 weeks ago.

Well if what we have ain't spring, it sure is a teaser! 10C and sunny makes the sap run and the maple syrup and sugar folks are at it.

The little but of snow cover that we had is rapidly disappearing so that means mud . . . . .

But it's early March so we will likely gt another blast of winter before this is over.

about the time ya try that, you'll wish you would have waited 3 weeks

nice day here, once the fog lifted. must have been around 45. the water was runnin'. :D

The high for the day was about 45 degrees, but it rained quite a bit all the time. We were horseback all day sorting heavies, and got quite wet (but it was a warm wet). Our meadows are as saturated and hard to get around in as I've seen them in the 24 years we've lived on this ranch. Should be some grass come spring, and those are exciting thoughts (both grass and spring). :-)
