Winter storm watch (again) :(

Up to 6 inches of snow and wind predicted for SE Montana,
Monday night through Tuesday night.

I hope the forcasters are WRONG!

They're only ever wrong when they are calling for weather you actually want :(

Woke up to 2 inches of wet snow this morning. Had light snow showers for most of the day off and on.

Same here yesterday (Sunday) along with a stiff west wind. It felt like December all over again. More coming later in the week according to the forecast

Early last week it was like spring, warm, dry and sunny. Some guys around here have their triple mix (oats, barley, peas) in the ground - it should have enough moisture!!

Heck I'm wearing the same coats I did all winter. :?

Me, too, but since it is now mid-April I am refusing to put back on long-undered handle wear.

it hasn't been warm enough to take them off here yet  !

That's for sure. :D :D

That's for double dam sure. It was -15 here again last night. Still wearing my wool pants too.
We found a part time helper so Debbie let me sleep this morning. I cannot recall the last time I slept in to 9:00 AM.
Not feeling guilty at all.

its been snowin here all afternoon, very little stuck though. predicting up to 7 inches by tomorrow night, i hope they get this on wrong.

snowin like a son-of-a gun now  we had .6 of rain last night, switched over to snow about 9 this morning. startin to get purdy white out there :? :(

YEP!
That's the report we got from the ranch. Same thing.
But so far, not much wind.

We are here in SD and it has snowed and blowed like heck.
I bet 50-60 mph gusts! Snow hasn't stuck, but it's miserable
day. Yesterday it was great. Sure tough for the grass to grow
in these conditions.

It's just gotta get better. Doesn't it? :???:

5 to 8" of snow in SE Montana...and wind. Not as bad as it
could be tho.

FH----LEFT TOWN TO HAVE DINNER LAST NIGHT AND I HAD OVER 2" ON THE TOP OF MY CAR AND IT WAS STILL COMING DOWN IN ALMOST WHITEOUT CONDITIONS....MY DINNER DATE WAS ONLY 7 MILES OUT OF TOWN AND IN THAT 7 MILES, IT WARMED UP 5 DEGREES AND THE WHITEOUT TURNED TO RAIN...HOWEVER, AWOKE THIS MORNING TO ICY, NASTY ROADS THAT WERE A NIGHTMARE FOR ALL ON THEM!! HEARD THIS SYSTEM IS HEADING YOUR WAY!! KEEP WARM AND STAY SAFE!!

Had about 3" of snow here with rain too, it amounted to .83" of moisture. Above about 2800ft elevation there was more snow. They had to get the snowplows out to get some trucks off the Terry-Brockway road that were stuck in the snow. Quite a few slide offs on the interstate too.
