    New Holland BR780

If you replace the bottom dimple roll on a BR780 or BR780A with a fluted roll from a BR7090, it makes a big difference in helping start the bale.

    problems wit nh 644

It's an Autowrap and not a Bale Command....right? If it's an Autowrap, run it through a wrap cycle and see if the belt is slipping.

It's a Sweet Clover Summer here in SE Montana

We just returned from a family reunion in Miles City. I couldn't believe the amount of sweet clover that we saw on the trip.

Does anyone have blueprints for an ark?

The clouds must be all emptied out before they get here. We're very dry and have missed out on the last few rains.

    The long days aren't bad

The ether from NAPA still explodes. It spooks me too much to use it so I bought one of those bead seating tanks. They work pretty good.

    New holland balers

The 560 is New Holland's latest model and this will essentially be the first season that they're in the field. I think that they are still the same roll-a-belt design like they have always been, but I'd say the jury is still out on them. I'd hate to own the first year of a new design (remember...

    2007 Polaris Ranger XP

There was a '12 Polaris Ranger 500 on our local party line this morning w/1950 miles....$6800, included roof and windshield. Probably farther than you'd like, but I'll PM you with the information if you want.

    calf warmer

We've got a VAL-6 radiant heater in the shop. I just drag the calf sled in the shop and fire up the heater. Warms them up better than anything I've tried. Just don't get the calf too close to the heater!

    Flatbed and Cake Feeder

They have a pretty good counter set up on them. They will put a scale under them too, but that adds around 1000 bucks to the price.

Glad you've been catching some rains. We've missed most of the rains here. Only .2" in the last five weeks. :(

Friends in areas effected by the storms

We didn't get all that much snow, but we've got plenty of ice and we've been without electricity for two days. I'm also thankful that we were ¾ done calving before this hit. It was probably the worst storm of the winter/spring here.
