Welcome PawPawMac , new to the net

Agree Alabama, nice website. Where is Bertram? How's the market for your type of products in Texas? I know it would be good in Austin. How about elsewhere?

I'm middle aged and we too referred to bulls as "he cows" some of the time. Hah. Very interesting. I agree that rural people have good manners instilled in them. As MLA would say, the superego is stronger in small towns.

Casa Paloma where are you located?

CP - Is Palestine worse situated vis a vis Rita than Austin? I just looked at Google Maps and it looks like they are a similar distance away from Houston and north, albeit Palestine is directly north of Houston and Austin is to the west. I know Austin just gets bad rain and an occasional...

    Taylor Behl and blogs

I do think the violent and pornographic television and movies have something to do with it personally. My kids can be exposed to such things because their parents and their schools have given them strong values but lots of families and schools don't have those values or don't bother to impart...

Some think they are being spied on. When new people come on, they assume that they are moles from pharmaceuticals or PETA. It's ironic because what is so significant about the forum that would be of value to moles? Also, why always ascribe such bad intentions to people? Maybe people are just...

Do you think there are more wierdos than there were when I was in college back 35 years ago? Reading the blogs about Taylor Behl (VCU freshman)'s disappearance the 38 year old she hung out with, I'm wondering if there are more wierdos because of the the Internet, because of media influence...

There's some hilarious paranoia on this forum but once you get past that, you'll enjoy the company.

    BREAST CANCER SITE

done my clicking - thanks - and pleased my doc and went in for a mammogram as well this month best joke at the clinic was the "manogram" cartoon - showing an excrutiatingly painful "man press". I know mammograms were invented by a tall, sadistic male doctor.

I also appreciate Southern manners and don't find them sexist at all. Now aging men who barely know me and put their arm around me, I do find sexist  When I first starting working after school, I had to let a couple of such guys know that I was not the "touchy feely" type.

My mom's an artist -- welded/cast bronze jewelry and sculpture. She traded pieces for paintings so our house was full of huge modern paintings. I envy you having ability/ talent and encourage you to just start working in bronze. I used to weld (very very small heads) oxyacetelyne in the...

Now your picture makes sense. You did look young and healthy, unlike us old folks here. I'm a very healthy and young 55, think I'm 27 going on 28 but unfortunately that's the age of my kids and their friends.
