I kind of like how they've got it set up. Garrison only plays himself from what I can tell. Woody Harrelson and John C Reilly are Dusty and Lefty in Lives of the Cowboys, Kevin Kline is Guy Noir, as so on. :)

I just got back from one, too. A weeked in Bismarck, ND probably doesn't sound too exciting, but it was nice to get away and see old friends. :) Over the 4th we're going to have a five day vacation. We haven't had a vacation that long since our honeymoon!

Frankly, I'm still trying to figure what in Silver's post got everyone's panties in a knot. Just because he made the point that Canada is a great nation, too, doesn't in any way, shape or form take away from the US (and he even said as much!)

I did too. It was pretty common actually. My grandma's was a nickname for Florence, but I know some people were just Flossy.

A friend of mine had really loved the name Whitney and was determined that would be her daughter's name. Until she married a guy by the name of Lake, that is. Whitney Lake was a popular fishing spot in our neck of the woods. :wink:

Not particularly crazy, but we had a neighbor with three boys: Stetson, Sterling and Steele. Their mother joked that when she was mad, all she could do was st, st, stutter! We also had a neighbor in college who named their son Raisin' Cain Smith. They called him R.C.

The revolution failed. (ie, the Confederacy, since they were the states in revolt). but in reality, the entire country lost. :(

It also failed once. Keep in mind, the Civil War was also a revolution. And a century and a half later, the country is finally recovering...

last week my kids headed out to the barn, buck naked except for their shoes, to feed the bottle calves. I hadn't really thought anything of it (since they're both still at that age, and far enough from civilization, that clothing is often missing ) But it rained that evening. Not much, only...
