I have a backhoe - loader here and have a set of forks that hang from hooks from the top of the bucket. My main complaint is you can NOT see the forks when trying to stab a pallet. The loader bucket is pretty heavy and the lift capacity lets them work out that far in front, but a quick attach on...
by now I think I'd take 5" of freezing rain....... its been 2 1/2 months since any moisture at all. But on the high side of that, its been real nice late fall weather here and we are getting lots of extra projects completed.
We have had the nicest weather the last three weeks, high around 80, but now tomorrow 55  but it has been a couple of months since any moisture and none in the forecast either.
I hope ya'll fare well thru this and are all done weaning and shipping calves early this year. Friends in...
The Lord has blessed us this year, as of last Monday, we are up to a total of 3.65" ytd total, ahead of last years cumulative total. Making grass and things look good.
At my place in eastern NM, I have 3.15" total for the year, which is already above the 2011 total. With the last 1.8" coming the past Sunday and Monday. There is some grass coming but it is spotty. My neighbor 2 miles northeast only got 1.1" out of it. The blessing has been closer to normal...
Thank you once again Shortgrass. Gods hand is evident in everything we see or do. What an amazing life he has created for us. To all of our friends here, have yourself a wonderful Sunday and all week maintaining God's work.
NR, lots of TX outfits have shipped cattle north to Nebraska, SD, MT, ND etc in lue of shipping hay. I was told there are less cattle in King County and surrounding counties in TX today than there has been in 150 years.
get rid of it as fast as you can. I have an 08 at home thats like new, and we have one 450 2008 at work. I despise them both. I will use me old 01 7.3 with 360,000 miles if I really have to depend on it.
We took the chuck wagon to Colorado Springs last weekend to participate in the chuck wagon cook off which was part of the Pikes Peak or Bust rodeo. We had a real good time and met alot of new ranch folks from that area, if I could just remember half of their names!
While I was there, Mike...
Since ya'll haven't sent your extra rain down here, could you at least send whiskey so we can get the "Natives" to dance and start something! No moisture here to speak of for months, (less than one inch since last August) and been 15 degrees hotter than normal. I may want that whiskey for myself...
No maam, no power outage here, just alot of hard wind. Im going to start wearing ear plugs to keep the sand out  one of my neighbors started sorting yesterday to start cutting numbers. This country does well on very little rain, but its time to get some.
