    hereford bloodlines

I was not in any way implying anything about your integrity I LUV HEREFORDS. I have a herd bull from the Miles City station that I can walk up to and scratch his back and that is the truth too, which bull yours or mine represents the stations genetics? I have a great deal of respect and...

    hereford bloodlines

This seems to have turned into Hereford breeders bashing Hereford breeders, one poster in particular. It would seem to me that it would be far better for the breed if we could list the attributes of particular lines. I have been raising registered, primarily Line 1 bred Herefords for 30 years...

    herefords bulls

I agree that Colemans and Thorson would be good places to look and would also mention the Miles City station. All of these places have cattle that are very functional plus the linebreeding will give you an extra kick on a cross.

    Holden Herefords

Probably could find just as good of bulls that are not near as fat closer to home. We have used some Holden bulls that were no better than some of the local bulls at half the price. There are alot of small breeders that have excellent Line 1 genetics.

An average bull to look at

Alot of cow makin sires in his pedigree, pretty elite line one genetics and no 9126,gets my vote. He looks very good too, like the freckles and pigment.

Did someone on here raise their own 9126J bull(s)

Really don't think 9126 is as powerful as his EPD's would indicate. If he didn't have the CL 1 prefix he would probably be kinda average. Nothing against Coopers as I think they have very good cattle, just not the typical ranch enviroment. Seems to me, if you feed the hell out of them your...

    hereford bulls...horned or polled

You are kinda out of line insinuating my customers live in the dark ages. They sold there calves two months ago and topped the market with above average pay weight and the brockle faced heifers out sold the steers. Thats no wives tail, that is real world payday. As for me being in the dark...

    hereford bulls...horned or polled

Won't see a horned bull dragging his tool threw the weeds. Most of the bulls I sell go on black cows and these customers wont use polled bulls. Wonder why????
